Weekly Shiur is our regular touchpoint as a community. This zman, our shiurim will primarily consist of workshops that explore various aspects of COMP.

Preparation:

Weekly assignments will consist of some or all of the following elements:

Independent text prep in chevruta
Secondary readings, essays, book chapters to read on your own ahead of shiur
Personal reflection activities during and ahead of shiur

Chevruta assignment: Start learning one of the DIY Sugyot or pick a sugya of your choice!
Reading assignment: Jon Levisohn, “A Menu of Orientations to the Teaching of Rabbinic Literature” (p. 148 in Pedagogy Chaburah Reader) – note: you do not need to read this whole article! Feel free to read p. 148-156 to get the gist.
